Bio
Born in the heart of the Buffalo rust belt but refined on the back roads of America, The Rightly So brings a vibrant energy to Americana music. The acoustic duo, comprised of Greg Zeis & Jess Chizuk, have taken their modern folk music on the road for the last two years, living and touring out of their homemade RV full-time. The Rightly So has played 100+ shows each year for the last 5 years including 5 national tours, they have performed with Howie Day, Phoebe Hunt & The Gatherers, Cory Branan, the Vandoliers, Dylan Jakobsen, Davina and the Vagabonds, and Sean Patrick McGraw, and have been featured in The Huffington Post, No Depression Magazine, and NPR affiliates in Amarillo (TX) and Grand Junction (CO) as well as Knoxville's WDVX Blue Plate Special.
Their sophomore album “Vandura” is out now, and this full-production work highlights the effect that life on the road has had on this young duo - from the vocals to the guitar work to the songwriting, it just keeps getting better.
